The new Logitech Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini and RoomMate work with Microsoft Teams and Zoom as well as other systems from GoToMeeting and RingCentral.
Logitech this week unveiled its latest products for the video conferencing industry. The company launched what it calls a “next generation” portfolio of appliance and PC-based solutions.
Logitech is, like so many tech companies today, reacting to the boom in remote working and video conferencing. The new productswork with today’s leading video conferencing services such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, according to the company.
Rounding out large meeting rooms, the new Logitech RoomMate is a computing appliance that allows customers to run video conferencing services on Logitech conference cams like Rally Plus without a PC or Mac.
“We’ve always methodically focused on what customers want, and that’s products with premium quality at a reasonable price,” said Scott Wharton, general manager and vice president, Logitech Video Collaboration.
A robust feature set
Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini both feature motorized pan and tilt in a video bar form factor and razor sharp optics up to 4K. Rally Bar offers lossless image quality up to 5X optical zoom, with digital enhancement up to 15X total zoom.
Both video bars feature ultra low distortion speakers and an adaptive beamforming mic array that focuses on the active talker while auto-leveling louder and softer voices and suppressing unwanted noise.
Both video bars come equipped with Logitech RightSense technology and AI Viewfinder, a second camera dedicated to computer vision.
Logitech Rally Bar will be broadly available at the end of this quarter. Rally Bar Mini and Logitech RoomMate availability will follow.
