Healthcare data specialist Cascador Health raised 3.4 million euros in a recent investment round. The funds are intended for further expansion in Europe and Belgium, its country of origin.

The latest round was made possible by healthcare provider Hirslanden and investment funds Qbic, Volta Ventures and Theodorus.

Cascador Health’s platform allows health providers and other stakeholders to store and access medical data. Access is secure and transparent, in line with privacy laws and regulations.

Data platform for healthcare

The platform collects patient data from various IT systems and interfaces used by healthcare providers. All data is housed centrally and converted into anonymized Real World Data (RWD).

The Belgian data specialist wants to use the new funds to expand its activities in home markets Belgium and Switzerland. The rest of Europa is next. In addition to its home countries, Cascador Health is active in France, the Netherlands and Germany.
