Bloomberg reports that the upcoming iOS 16 release will have significant improvements for notifications.

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman forecasts that Apple isn’t planning any major changes for iOS 16. However, as always, the version will come with new features. Gurman expects that Apple will focus on improved functionality for notifications. Furthermore, iPhone health tracking functionality is said to receive updates as well.

Other Apple OS versions

In the area of iPadOS, there’s not much known yet. This version will likely receive the general improvements expected in iOS 16. Reportedly, watchOS is getting several updates for activity tracking and health status.

As far as macOS 13 is concerned, we’re in the dark. Bloomberg has no details on possible new features. The version’s name is unknown.

New Macs

Mark Gurman does note that Apple is planning to introduce new hardware, including a redesigned MacBook Air, a new 13-inch MacBook Pro, an updated 24-inch iMac and a new Mac mini.

Most iOS 16 and hardware details will be announced at WWDC in early June.
