Salesforce recently updated its MuleSoft platform. The release focuses on new automation and integration capabilities.

MuleSoft allows both technical and non-technical staff to automate workflows and respond to changes and business complexity. Among other things, the latest release helps contact center agents synchronise customer information.

New in MuleSoft

Salesforce added robotic process automation (RPA) functionality for automating workflows. All RPA functionality is available via MuleSoft RPA. Additionally, the new MuleSoft Composer helps connect data from various systems, including Slack, Stripe and Workday.

In addition, MuleSoft Automation allows companies to deploy RPA bots. Most new features support large-scale automation and integration, which is what MuleSoft’s known and used for.

Salesforce Flow

Salesforce indicated that all new functionality is fully integrated into Salesforce Flow. Salesforce Flow is a suite of automation technology for the Customer 360 platform.
