Schneider Electric is expanding its sustainability portfolio with the acquisition of EcoAct.
With the acquisition, about which no financial details were disclosed, Schneider Electric is acquiring a part of the Atos Group. In particular, EcoAct’s knowledge and consulting services are reason for Schneider Electric to acquire the company.
Integration into sustainability business
EcoAct provides consulting services in the field of climate and CO2 emissions. They focus on the areas of strategy finding, climate risk studies and sustainability reporting.
Within Schneider Electric, EcoAct’s services will be integrated into the Sustainability Business division. This business unit provides services including energy management, energy efficiency and CO2 emissions mitigation.
