Jazz is bringing its DLP platform to Falcon Foundry. Falcon customers can install the app with just a few clicks and gain access to Melody, an “agentless investigator” that autonomously detects and contextualizes data flows within the Falcon console.
The announcement is being made during Fal.Con 2026 in Las Vegas, CrowdStrike’s annual event in Las Vegas. The Jazz app is available immediately via the CrowdStrike Marketplace.
Jazz is based on the premise that simply knowing that data is moving provides little insight. Melody attempts to determine whether that movement was actually risky. To do so, the tool combines four dimensions: the data itself, the systems between which it was transferred, the individuals involved, and the underlying business process. From millions of signals, Melody then filters out the cases that truly pose a high risk, including associated evidence, before an analyst reviews them.
Summarizing its competition, Jazz suggests its solution prevents the need for ‘rule-writing and alert chasing’. Its rhetoric gets more pointed than that, too, as it launched a “DLP Pain Report” back in June that highlights the worst elements of DLP solutions in existing security offerings. Although the sourcing is a mix of research, Reddit threads and anecdotes, the general problem of alert fatigue in IT security is a commonly asserted one.
No additional agent required
The integration runs through Falcon Foundry, the no-code platform that allows CrowdStrike customers to build IT and security workflows at an accessible level. Melody thus provides business context that flows through Falcon and feeds the investigated findings back into the existing workflow. No additional endpoint agent is required for this.
CrowdStrike already has its own native DLP module. Falcon Data Protection detects, among other things, downloads of sensitive data to unsecured devices, covert copying actions, and uploads to generative AI tools.
