Xebia Group announced the acquisition of GetInData. The Polish company employees over 120 data engineers and consultants to provide big data, cloud, analytics and AI solutions. Over time, they’ll become part of Xebia, an international IT group.
GetInData was founded by former Spotify engineers in 2014. The organization specializes in implementations of data technologies. Clients include big names such as Spotify, ING, Acast and Truecaller.
Xebia recently announced the acquisition of GetInData. “We welcome some of the brightest minds in data today”, CEO Anand Sahay said. The company’s 120+ data engineers and consultants will become part of Xebia. GetInData’s brand name will disappear over time.

Xebia is interested in the expertise of GetInData’s workforce. In addition, the company is well-known in the open-source community. It regularly contributes to open-source projects and organizes the annual Big Data Warsaw Technology Summit, a big data conference with an emphasis on independence and technical presentations.
“I have always admired GetInData, and it’s an equal partnership of two fantastic companies joining teams”, Xebia data director Rob Dielemans said. The IT group provides various services, including data platforms for public cloud environments, consisting of data collection pipelines and AI analysis applications.

The deal’s financial details weren’t disclosed. Xebia acquired several companies in the past year. In November 2022, the group bought low-code firm Netlink Digital Solutions (NDS). In August, Xebia confirmed the acquisition of 47 Degrees, a consultant in the field of functional programming languages.
