Adobe is adding an AI assistant to their Experience Platform in the form of a chatbot. It answers users’ technical questions and can automate specific tasks. The AI assistant draws on LLMs, Adobe’s own knowledge database and the company’s data working with it to optimize the customer experience.

The new assistant should increase users’ productivity (marketers, customer service agents, and user experience experts) by letting them outsource complex issues partly to the AI via an accessible chat interface. It can -among other things- automate tasks, simulate scenarios, and generate customer journeys for use within other Adobe applications.

The announcement of the AI assistant was one of many AI-related news items at the Adobe Summit in Las Vegas. Another was Firefly Services, which builds on the generative AI tool that allows users to generate an image with a text command.

Quickly deployable in personalized marketing campaigns

Another new service is Custom Models, which helps train Firefly models. The images and assets generated in this way are immediately deployable in Adobe GenStudio, a GenAI application that enables marketers to quickly deploy such assets in personalized campaigns.

The Adobe Experience Platform is a comprehensive set of tools and services for managing customer data and personalized marketing. It is a central place for collecting, organizing and analyzing customer data from various sources. It also offers tools for creating (personalized) marketing materials and even entire campaigns based on the data obtained.
