With Real-Time DX 8.8, ControlUp now also provides insight into Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop. As many as 162 different metrics have been added for this purpose.
ControlUp is a provider of so-called Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management solutions. Its Real-Time DX solution provides end-to-end monitoring and troubleshooting functionality for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) environments. Among others, for well-known VDI and DaaS solutions such as Citrix and VMware Horizon.
Now also Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
With the arrival of Real-Time DX 8. 8, the capabilities are now also available for Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop. For this, the release has gained more than 162 features out of a total of 190 new features.
More specifically, from the Real-Time DX console, users can now monitor Azure Virtual Desktop machines, users, applications, workspaces, application groups and host pools and troubleshoot problems for them. Costs are also more controllable by service, location and resource group. This should give users more control over Azure costs. Furthermore, the tool provides greater visibility into Azure Stack HCI machines.
Other functionality
In addition to for Microsoft Azure VDI, other updates have been made, of course. ControlUp points to 70 new performance metrics and dashboards for FSLogix profile containers, advanced Remote DX metrics, multitenancy support for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and automatic detection, notification and restarts for any problem with Windows services.
