HP has introduced the new Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop PC during CES 2024. These laptops run on an Intel Core Ultra processor, which should make them very suitable for AI applications.

The HP Spectre x360 2-in-1, which can be used as both a laptop and a tablet, is one of many new “AI PCs.” Although HP does not use the term, the specifications point very clearly to such a device.

Processor options

The HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 runs based on the latest Intel Core Ultra processor, which is particularly suitable for AI applications. The various models here start with an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor.

This chip offers up to 4.5 GHz clock speed, 18 MB of L3 cache, 14 cores and 18 threads. This is combined with an integrated Intel Arc Graphics GPU. There’s 16 GB of RAM on board the machine.

An alternative processor option is the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, with a clock speed of up to 4.8 GHz, 24 MB of L3 cache, 16 cores and 22 threads. This is also paired with an Intel Arc Graphics GPU and 16 GB of memory.

The third option is the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, with a clock speed of 4.8 GHz, 24 MB L3 cache, 16 cores and 22 threads.

Additional storage capacity is between 512 GB and 1 TB on NVMe SSDs.

Other specifications

Other options include a 2.8K OLED display with so-called micro-edge bezels, Low Blue Light technology to reduce eye fatigue and a 16:10 aspect ratio. For more AI functionality, the Intel Evo platform is also integrated on all variants.

Finally, the HP Spectre x360 is available in both 14-inch and 16-inch versions. The price of an HP Spectre x360 14-inch 2-in-1 laptop PC starts from $1,499.99. The price of the 16-inch version starts at $1,599.99.
