ControlUp Edge DX monitors endpoint performance

ControlUp Edge DX monitors endpoint performance

Software company ControlUp will demonstrate monitoring solution Edge DX at VMware Explore 2022, an annual conference. Edge DX monitors the performance, processes and patches of multiple endpoints. Data is presented in a central dashboard.

VMware Explore 2022 takes place from August 29 to September 1 in San Francisco. Partners of VMware use the event to showcase products. One of the partners is ControlUp, a developer of monitoring solution Edge DX. ControlUp will demonstrate the solution at the conference.

Edge DX

Edge DX is growing fast. User numbers are rising and customers get frequent updates. The solution allows IT teams to monitor smartphones, PCs and other endpoints through a central dashboard.

The device data includes CPU speed, network consumption and memory availability. In addition to device data, the dashboard shows an overview of installed apps, missing patches, notable events and the most frequently used apps.

User data can be viewed per app. Not every app is supported. ControlUp frequently develops integrations to retrieve detailed information. Support for Zoom and Microsoft Teams was recently added.

“With the new ability for IT teams to monitor Zoom and MS Teams, Edge DX is the fastest growing product in our portfolio to date”, shared Asaf Ganot, co-founder and CEO of ControlUp. “This is a testament to how important having real-time data analytics accessible to IT teams.”

Monitoring at scale

ControlUp targets the product at IT service providers and internal IT departments. According to the organization, the solution can be configured for hundreds of thousands of devices within weeks.

“IT teams can virtually sit side-by-side with work from anywhere (WFA) employees to fix issues quickly on endpoint devices so team members can get back to work fast”, the organization described.

VMware Explore 2022

ControlUp will demonstrate the solution during two separate sessions at VMware Explore 2022. The first session starts on Tuesday, August 30 at 3:15 pm (local time) in the Expo Theater. The second sessions starts on Wednesday, August 31 at 10:30 am during the Breakout Sessions.
