1Password’s new ‘sign-in with’ browser extension speeds up logins. Users can leverage the credentials of identity providers such as Apple, Facebook and Google to quickly login to web applications.
Many web applications support identity providers. After registering with an identity provider, users can use the same set of credentials to log into all web applications that support the identity provider.
1Password released a new browser extension to leverage the technology. The extension allows users to automatically save, store and fill in the credentials of identity providers such as Apple, Facebook, Google, Meta, Twitter, Microsoft, Okta and GitHub.
The ‘sign-in with’ browser extension is compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Edge.
Functionality
The browser extension allows users to automatically input the login credentials of identity providers. They can also use the extension to modify the passwords and usernames of identity provider accounts.
The browser extension is now available for Individual, Family, Teams and Enterprise customers.
