Dell introduces the Precision 5470, a high-end 14-inch workstation. The strongest configuration includes an Nvidia RTX A1000. The model is excellent for GPU-intensive workloads.
The Dell Precision series consists of powerful laptops with high-end GPUs. The Precision 5470 will be available from April onwards. Dell claims to have the world’s lightest 14-inch mobile workstation on its hands.
Dell Precision 5470
On the inside, you’ll find a 12th Gen Intel Core H-series CPU, which specializes in graphical performance. On top of that, the Precision 5470 contains an Nvidia RTX A1000 GPU. The combination lends itself to the most GPU-intensive workloads.
Memory caps at 64GB DDR5. The maximum storage capacity is 4TB. The lightest version weighs just under 1.5 kilograms. An impressive weight, as the aforementioned components call for an adequate cooling system. Dell maintained a low weight with a new thermal design.
Wi-Fi 6E is supported. The model includes Thunderbolt inputs. The Precision 5470 is part of a new portfolio for hybrid work, consisting of more than ten new devices and updates to Dell Optimizer.
Further details are unknown, as is the price. Dell lets us know that the announcement will follow as soon as possible. The Precision 5470 will be released in April.
