Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy A14 5G will become available worldwide over the course of 2023. Release dates differ by region. In Western Europe, the smartphone is expected in March.

The Galaxy A14 5G is the most affordable 5G smartphone in the Galaxy portfolio. Samsung unveiled the model at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. The organization set the recommended retail price to $200 (about €190) in the United States. Although the recommended retail prices can differ in Europe, the difference is likely to be small.

The model succeeds the Galaxy A13 5G from 2022. The new front camera includes a 13-megapixel sensor. Samsung said the upgrade greatly improves the quality of selfies. The 6.6-inch screen is slightly larger than its predecessor. In addition, the model offers FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

We don’t know which processor(s) will be included in devices shipped to European countries at the time of writing. However, Samsung did state that the processor is an improvement over the previous generation.

Customers can choose between 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. MicroSD allows for expansions up to 1TB. Furthermore, the device includes a 5000mAh battery. Battery life varies by situation and user, but 5000mAh is typically more than enough to get through the day.
