Eurofiber will become a vendor on Connectbase’s Connected World platform. In the process, the connectivity player is joining an ecosystem of 300 other network providers in 150 countries.
The demand for data keeps rising, both parties assert. That is why making the 70,500 km of Eurofiber fiber optic cables available will come in handy for Connectbase’s clients. “We are delighted to partner with Connectbase and be part of their solution-oriented ecosystem,” states Rhoderick van der Wyck, Managing Director International Business of Eurofiber. “Together we can fulfill our mission to continually expand our fiber and cloud connectivity for all secure and mission-critical traffic.”
While Eurofiber operates in Northwestern Europe, particularly the Benelux countries, Connectbase is a global player. It previously partnered with parties in North America, Europe, Africa and Latin America, and more. The Connected World platform profiles 2.7 billion locations simultaneously through 300 providers in 150 countries.
Exchange
Naturally, there is something to be gained by both parties here. As was true of the recently announced partnership with data center operator Equinix, Eurofiber gets the chance to connect to more clients than ever for new revenue streams.
It will be as speedy a trade as can be, too. This is mainly due to the fact that Connectbase enables real-time quotes for customers and vendors alike. Trading for connectivity is becoming as fast as the underlying infrastructure itself.
“Eurofiber is a very reputable brand within the European markets,” says Edison Smith, VP EMEA of Connectbase, “The decision to partner with Connectbase is particularly exciting. We see demand for connectivity in Europe growing significantly and the addition of a high-quality network provider like Eurofiber will be a valuable addition to our global buyers.”
